Facts about Rezzibo.com

Rezzibo.com was founded in Santiago, Chile, October 2005, by Paul Beelen (The Netherlands, 1974) and Damir Colak (Republic of Serbia, 1974).

The name Rezzibo comes from the Spanish verb Recibir, which means To Receive. The double zz is, well, just for fun.

The first 'promotion activity' consisted of three emails fired off to bloggers in Spain and Chile. Rezzibo received 400 users during the following two weeks, the web site still being in beta.

During the entire creation process, the founders never spoke about the project in person. Instant messaging and email was used to communicate. Damir and Paul live 3 minutes apart.
